Kim Chun Sig (former Vice Minister of Unification/Seoul National University):

Informal process of negotiations to secure peace in the Korean peninsula

Kim Chun Sig was Vice Vice Minister of Unification of the Republic (South) Korea between 2011 and 2013. Prior to his post, he had pursued a career at the Ministry of Unification for more than 20 years. During his time in the Ministry, he participated more than 120 times in official as well as informal meetings with high-ranking representatives of North Korea, among them Supreme Leader Kim Jong Il. Since 2013, H.E. Kim is a researcher at theInstitute for Peace and Unification at Seoul National University.
