During the summer term 2015, the GEAS holds a lecture series titled „Institutions and Gender in East Asia and Beyond“ asking how institutions influence gender relations and social meanings of gender. Individual lectures draw on different regional case studies from East Asia and India and on varying disciplinary approaches such as law, sociology and media studies.
