On 20 November 2021, Anita von Poser and Edda Willamowski received the 2021 Stirling Prize for Best Published Work in Psychological Anthropology at the Annual Meeting of American Anthropological Association (AAA). Both members of Social and Cultural Anthropology received the prize for their publication  "The Power of Shared Embodiment: Renegotiating Non/belonging and In/exclusion in an Ephemeral Community of Care" (erschienen in: Culture, Medicine, and Psychiatry 2020 (44): 610-628).
