As part of the Berlin Science Week 2020, Tohoku University and Free University Berlin held a joint public lecture in order to discuss numerous ways to build resilient societies. The event was hosted online by the Tohoku Forum for Creativity and featured five speakers from different disciplines, including Shinichi Egawa (IRIDeS Tohoku), Verena Blechinger Talcott (FUB), Julia Gerster (IRIDeS Tohoku), Daniel Lorenz (FUB) and Martin Voss (FUB).
