Freie Universität Berlin Japanese Studies Institute (Political Sciences and Economics) invites application for a position of assitant at predoc level (50%, TV-L FU 13). The term is limited for 4 years.

The assistant is supposed to contribute to teaching and research in Japanese Studies (political science and economics).

Applicants should have a master's degree in Japanese Studies or a strong background social sciences with Japan focus. Applicants are encouraged to pursue a PhD.

We are interested in applicants with experiences in project management and strong teaching skills as well as excellent Japanese language proficiency.
