Baik Young-seo joins the GEAS as Visiting professor for a month from July  20.

BAIK Youngseo is a professor of Chinese modern history and the director of Institute of Korean Studies at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. He is also a co-editor of the Quarterly Changbi . His main works are Return of East Asia: Questioning the Modernity of China (2000); East Asia as Intellectual Thought: History and Practices from the Perspective of the Korean Peninsula (Taipei 2009, Beijing 2011).
