Xu Jin will join the GEAS as Visiting Professor in May 2014. Prof. Xu is Professor of Political History at the School of Marxism at Renmin University of China in Beijing. During his visit to the GEAS, he will host an MA/PhD seminar on “Interpreting Chinese Archival Resources” (LV 14932-S14), where students will read and discuss selected archival and government materials that illuminate key political, economic and social transformations in modern Chinese history.

A pre-meeting of the course will be held with prof. Xu in the GEAS Lounge (0.35) on Tuesday, 6 May 2014, 12-13 pm.
