On his first trip to Europe China’s President Xi Jinping was visiting Germany on 28 March. The Körber Foundation invited some of our doctoral students and postdocs to join the event at the Hotel Intercontinental.

Körber Foundation has invited Xi Jinping to give a speech about China's role in the world. He met Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Federal President Joachim Gauck. The topics on the agenda ranged from bilateral relations to current developments in China and economic and foreign policy issues.
