Hendrik Johannemann joined the Graduate School of East Asian Studies (GEAS) in October 2017, sponsored by a fellowship from Cusanuswerk. Hendrik holds a B.A. in Political Science and Portuguese (minor) from Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and an M.A. in Political Science from Free University Berlin. He has been an exchange student at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, and at Seoul National University, South Korea.
