Baik, Young-seo joined the GEAS as Visiting Professor from July to August 2014.

Baik Young-seo studied Korean history (BA, MA, and Ph D) at Seoul National University. Formerly a professor at Hallym University, he currently serves as a professor at Yonsei University. He has authored: A Study of the Modern College Culture of China and The Return of East Asia; co-authored An Analytical Study of the National Revolution of China; and co-edited A Debate on the Nature of Chinese Society and The Consciousness of the “Orient” among East Asians.
